Responsibilities
- Performance and Availability: People in the Network Engineer role will be relied on to facilitate consistent network performance and uptime.
- Change Management: Network Engineers will be responsible for implementing changes to MessageBroadcast’s production environment in accordance with change management procedures. This will include assessing risk and creating run books with acceptance test and back-out plans.
- We are looking for an experienced network engineer to help design, build, and maintain the network infrastructure across our global datacenters.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience proactively maintaining network availability, reliability, and performance in an enterprise environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. With a proven ability to produce high quality documentation.
- Basic scripting skills to facilitate the automation of common administrative tasks to streamline operational duties
- Experience working in a 24/7 environment as part of an on call rotation
Preferred Skills
- Advanced scripting skills
- Experience supporting telecom environments, including VoiP/SIP and T1/PRIs
- Education: Bachelors Degree and CCNP or CCDP Certification
- Number of Years of Work Experience: 8+
